Crusader Kings III Royal Edition

When it comes to grand strategy RPG’s, Crusader Kings III Royal Edition is probably in the top 5. Developed by Paradox Development Studio and published by Paradox Interactive, Crusader Kings III Royal Edition is a gem. A gem that’s worth exploring and devouring. Besides the base game, CKIII, the Royal Edition also comes with an Expansion pass covering the first three upcoming expansions and the Expansion Pass bonus Fashion of the Abbasid Court.

What’s Crusader Kings III Royal Edition All About?

Much like its predecessors, Crusader Kings III Royal Edition is a dynasty simulator set in the Middle ages. Also, the game allows you to start in either 867 or 1066 and play until 1453. First and foremost, the aforementioned dynasties can form cadet branches. And those branches have their own heads. And of course act mostly independently from their parent dynasty. However, The heads of dynasties will be able to use a new resource known as Renown. That’s to assert their control over their house of course. For example, the heads of dynasties are responsible for legitimizing bastards. But that’s not all. You’ll have plenty of more intrigue and politics to watch out for. Just like in any other good dynasty.

Why It’s Worth Checking Out?

Well for one because it’s immersive, addictive and fascinating. And on an evolutionary scale, it’s as close to perfect as you can imagine. Well, compared to the two previous games anyway. Yes, there are some bugs, but for the most part, it’s a top notch rendering throughout. And when you think about it, you may have advisors, make alliances and make enemies. But this is a game for the individual in you. However, you mustn’t be scared. There’s a tutorial for you that you can follow and glide through the rough parts of the game. And there will be rough parts when you’ll just want to give up. But don’t. Trust us.

Yes, some of the most noteworthy improvements in the third game of the series are the characters. Indeed, the characters are now fully 3D and animated, which is awesome. The warfare is also on the list of improvements.. It gives you a different gaming experience and you must appreciate it. A really cool game to try out and that I highly recommend.
