Alan Wake

Developed by Remedy Entertainment and published by THQ Nordic GmbH, Alan Wake is a mix of a lot of things. Action and adventure for sure. But there’s a lot of mystery lingering in the plot. And all three things combined really make one heck of a game in Alan Wake.

What’s Alan Wake All About?

Well, it’s a video game…but not quite your conventional type. The game has the style of a TV series. And if you are a fan of the Max Payne series, Quantum Break and Control, you’re in luck. It’s one of the best games in Remedy Entertainment’s catalog. That just happened to have a stroke of bad luck on release day. To be released on the same day as Red Dead Redemption. It’s also one of the best psychological games in existence. The gameplay is awesome as well, and so is the atmosphere.

Alan Wake

It’s Sill Amazing!

The wife of the best-selling writer Alan Wake disappears on their vacation in this game. So his search turns up pages from a thriller he doesn’t even remember writing. And the mystery doesn’t end there. A Dark Presence stalks the small town of Bright Falls. And it’s pushing Wake to the brink of sanity. He also needs to find the love of his life. But that won’t be an easy task.

Here’s a hint. If you want to get the best experience, try playing Alan Wake at night. You’ll get a kick out of it. And the quality of the game itself is what makes it so enjoyable. A timeless classic that will be excellent to play even 10 years from now. If you’re a fan of mystery, action and adventure all in one… Then this is the perfect game for you. A psychological thriller unlike any other. And a game that you’ll be going back to. Over and over again.

Alan Wake II, is it happening?

Yes. In 2021, it was announced that Remedy together with Epic Games Publishing are working at a new game. The triple-A title was revealed to be Alan Wake II when the game was officially announced at The Game Awards 2021 and it set to release in 2023. Here’s the trailer.
