  • While Lucid adds: Highly recommend if you like Dragon Ball.

But for now… Let’s meet Dragon Ball The Breakers: Meet Cell, Frieza and Buu.

Cell: The Perfect Warrior?

It seems to be. Cell is the main villain of the Cell saga. And the ultimate creation of Dr. Gero, designed to have all the abilities of the greatest fighters to have ever inhabited or visited Earth. He’s also the ultimate creation of Dr. Gero, designed via cell recombination using the genetics of the greatest fighters that the remote tracking device could find on Earth. The result is a thing called „perfect warrior “, according to multiple sources. It has numerous favorable genetic traits and special abilities from Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo, Frieza and King Cold. But when it comes to his personality, he’s a bit different. He’s arrogant sure. But at the same time, he’s very cautious, sneaky, cunning, and knowledgeable. Not to mention calculating in achieving his main goal of perfection. However, Cell’s overall personality changes drastically with each transformation, and that’s what makes him such a fascinating character.

Fun fact: Cell was named after the English word for “cell” because he absorbs Earthlings and transforms.

Frieza: As Iconic As It Gets?

Yes. It. Is. It’s such an iconic villain in the Dragon Ball universe. And it’s not just the appearance that sparks interest. It’s also the modus operandi of Frieza. What is it you might ask? Well, Frieza lights a spark of energy on his index finger. Once enough energy is gathered, this spark may grow to the size of a small moon and is thrown towards the target. But yeah. Despite not appearing until the manga’s second half, Frieza is considered to be the most iconic villain from the Dragon Ball franchise. He effectively catalyzed many of the events depicted in the story, due to the destruction of the Saiyan homeworld Planet Vegeta at his hands.

Fun fact: The character’s name is a pun on a freezer. And because of this, his minions and the members of the Ginyu Force are named after fruits and dairy products. You know… Items one would normally put in a refrigerator.

Majin Buu: The Gennie-Like Baddie

Buu for short is first introduced in chapter #460 “Majin Boo Appears?!”. A manga was first published in Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine on March 1, 1994. But in a nutshell, he is a genie-like magical life form. Awoken by the evil warlock Bibidi that terrorized galaxies by destroying entire planets, millions of years before the events of Dragon Ball take place.

Being the final villain faced by the protagonists in the original Dragon Ball series, and the franchise at the time, Buu is the most powerful of them all, possessing vast superhuman strength, speed and reflexes beyond comprehension. Majin Buu can fly at high speeds, is superhumanly strong and durable, can manipulate pink Ki Energy in many different forms, and has a completely elastic body. Buu’s pink Ki is extremely destructive capabilities, able to easily destroy large planets with minimal effort. Along with being malleable, Buu’s body can regenerate on a vast molecular scale. And here’s the fun part about it.

Fun fact: Buu is the only one of the four major villains who did not have a tail.
