The desperate search for hidden indie game gems is coming to an end. Instead of hunting endlessly for them, IndieGala is now dedicating a big portion of its energy to help you discover them in our latest GemSeeker event.
The “why” is easy. Because at the heart of everything that we do there is indie game love. We are indie game developers ourselves and we understand, as good as any, the challenge in indie creation. As serious gamers, we also know the pleasure in discovering and playing these beautiful indie gems.
There’s no need to belabor this point. We know that you know what we’re talking about. So without further ado, allow us to introduce you to GemSeeker.
GemSeeker
GemSeeker is essentially a collective of indie game hidden gems. We only hope that with the community’s support (and some amazing promos!) we’ll be able to change their status of “hidden gem” so they can be enjoyed by growing audiences. In a nutshell, here’s what you can expect from GemSeeker:
- Weekend: Saturday is the day for GemSeekers to keep an eye out!
- Discovery Price: GemSeeker promos will always last for a maximum of 72 hours at a very low price. In fact during the first 24 hours you’ll sometimes get access to a pay-what-you-want option.
- GemSeeker Treasure: Every GemSeeker game will come with the possibility of winning loot! These will range from schwag – like wall posters and stickers – and even gaming devices to enhance your experiences.
Are you a GemSeeker? You should…
- Collect Gems: Collecting gems isn’t just about upgrading your game library, it’s also about supporting talented indie developers and helping them take their projects further and providing us all with more megabits of fun!
- Show Support: You can expect to find extremely low prices (even as little as $0.01) on very positively rated Steam games. Outside a bundle, this is something never seen before. Consider throwing in something a little extra to support the game devs. At the very least, share the promo with a friend.
