When it comes to PC racing games you often hear the same names. However, here are 5 games that aren’t usually top-of-mind but are actually really cool.

Lightning McQueen is about to be up against much more competition than usual. Disney Cars Classics is obviously not as intense as the other racing games on this list. Still, you’ll be able to enjoy and relax with a few hours of cute cars and solid racing.

Do you like your racing games action-packed and intense? Then you should give Split/Second a try. Competitors vie to be the first to the finish line in a made-for-TV city set rigged to blow with the ultimate goal of becoming the season champion. Players in Split/Second don’t just collide with other vehicles to knock them off the track. You can also trigger devastating events that drastically alter the dynamics of the race. Players must use pinpoint timing to obliterate huge structures and towering TV set pieces to tactically alter the track or create entirely new routes.
(4) Teddy Floppy Ear – The Race
People of Animalville got a karting fever and you must help one of them reach for the championship. Take the wheel, choose a kart, decide which character from ‘Teddy Floppy Ear’ universe you want, and start the wild ride! Compete all day long on nightly and daily tracks that span around the beautiful and colorful countryside. Play in one of many modes including Time Attack and Racing Season. Use power-ups to gain advantage or slow down your opponents. Improve your vehicle’s appearance by tuning.
(5) Crashday Redline Edition
The 10 games in the Hump Day Bundle are all rather cool. Still, being able to pick up Crashday Redline Edition (plus 9 other games) for 5 bucks is a total steal. There is simply way more content than you’d expect from the price tag. 36 maps, 12 vehicles, 7 game modes, track editing, modding, you name it. This is one of the PC racing games that needs much more attention!
